Background

The Spirit Wolves are a nomadic tauren tribe. They are peacemakers and their presence in the Horde is silent, catering more to their own interests and interests of the United Tauren Tribes rather than the ways of the Horde.
They have established a significant name since their reappearance two years ago as corruption-fighters and diplomats. One of their major achievements is to this day the defeat of the vile Pale Riders and their leader Dreadholm.
As stated above, the tribe keeps to the roots of tauren traditions with their nomadic lifestyle. They change location at least every month and gather on Wednesdays and Sundays at 20.00.
They are currently located in Shadowprey Village, Desolace.

For many ages The Spirit Wolves have been standing vigilant over the world of Azeroth. The nomadic tauren tribe, loyal to the wise spirit wolf Waluu, has been always dedicated to peace keeping and fighting corruption, ever since Waluu instructed the wise hunter, Akwana.
The Ghost Wolves, later to be known as the Spiritwolf Tribe, were forever fabled in their time. Silent and unseen, wise and powerful deemed, they took upon their shoulders Akwana's mission for generations.
There came a day when evil came upon the tribe, and Aqowan the Blind, the tribe's leader, was murdered by his disloyal Grimtotem wife, after his daughter refused to marry one of the Grimtotem males and killed him in a fight. The dark furred tauren were outraged and raided the Ghostwolf village with destruction being all they had seen to the world.
Scarred, scattered, the tribe was indeed no more for many days and many months. Aqowan's children were nowhere to be seen.
Then, one of his children's child, Takuur by name, rose up after learning of his ancestry as a reformator of the tribe. He named himself the Spirit Caller and called new Shu'halo to join his cause. Within weeks, the tribe was back on its feet, now known as The Spirit Wolves and their fight for peace continued at once.
Soon Takuur died and Jadien became chieftain, she led the tribe for months. As Aenokhe, Aqowan's eldest son, returned from the wilds to help her, the tribe prospered 'till the midst of Summer when it scattered for months, having not received any calls from Waluu.
They reformed eventually with Aenokhe as the leader. But events unfolded onwards and eventually the tribe came to the poitn of electing their new chieftain. That day, Caerake became their chief, and in place of the retired Aenokhe, Jadien and Wolfgarn, elder warden and elder seer, stepped up as elders. Since the day of his election, Caerake has been striving to prove himself to the tribe and gain their trust.

The Spirit Wolves are led by the Chieftain, whose decisions are the final word, currently Caerake the Spirit Champion. He is advised by three Elders, among which one is a brave (warrior/hunter), one a seer (shaman) and one a warden (druid). They are protected by their loyal Honour Guards.
The elder council chooses several Champions to present them as sergeants in battle and ambassadors. They are the strongest warriors, seers and wardens in the tribe, gifted with Waluu's wisdom.
At the tribe's core rise the tribesmen. These are however separated into seers, the shamans of the tribe, braves, warriors and hunters and last but not least, wardens, the druids.
One only becomes a tribesman upon finishing his rites of the Prairie Wolf, which are given by their respective elders.

One can become a Spirit Wolf by seeking the chieftain or the elders of the tribe. After proving himself worth of taking up the Rites of Waluu with performing a simple task, he will be greeted into the tribe on trial.
During this period, he will have to prove himself to the tribal elders and within a month complete his rites, becoming a full fledged tribesman if he does it with success.
A good time to contact the tribe is to find them on their Wednesday and Sunday meetings, of which location can be found above. They usually start at 20.00.
