Background

**Background**
As a young child, Zakya was found unconscious on a beach in Stranglethorn Vale by a travelling Goblin called Frizzle. This Goblin nursed her back to health and she stayed with him for many years. Never being able to go into any large settlements with him, Zakya led a happy but secluded childhood, and to this day she does not like large cities and any other place where a lot of people gather. This background has also made her very wary of others, since coming to Durotar and being accepted amongst the trolls there she is more trusting of other trolls, but she is still wary of other Horde races and bordering on hostile toward Alliance.

Remembering nothing of her previous life, not even her real name or age, Zakya accepted Frizzle as her only family during her early years. But as she grew older she started to have visions in her dreams, visions which urged her to go and seek the truth. Because of this, she decided to leave Frizzle and go in search for her family, or at the least the tribe she belongs to. The only clue she has as to where she comes from is a wooden bracelet with strange runes carved into it that she wore when she was found. Having spent a year travelling around Stranglethorn Vale without finding anything useful, she has now travelled to Durotar, hoping that there might be some Troll among the ones now settled there that will know what the runes mean.

When she arrived in Durotar, Zakya took up the study of magic. At first she chose the path of fire since this element featured so heavily in her dreams, but soon she realised that she wanted to take a much more spirititual path to bring her closer to the Loa who she believes are responsible for her visions.

Her path has now also crossed that of the followers of Kukul'kan, and after finding peace among them she has decided to join them. It is among the followers that Zakya is most relaxed, losing even that last bit of wariness that she still has towards trolls that she has never met before.

As Zakya's knowledge of the spirits and Loa grows, her understanding of the way they work is steadily increasing, and she is starting to show a lot of wisdom. She has lately also found and unknown talent for blessing weapons and armor to help her fellow trolls in the battle to regain their empire.
